Good morning & Happy Thursday! It’s the first day of a
new month, and soon it’ll be a new season. As I sat with my morning decaf
today, I spent time thinking about ways I can re-energize this blog. It’s been
somewhat neglected this summer as I’ve been busy with real-world things, like
creating and presenting a workshop, exhibiting at an art show, celebrating my
birthday, visiting family at the lake, and so much more.
Right now, I’m trying to figure out how I can incorporate
into my blog one of my biggest passions: interior decorating/interior design. The
biggest stumbling block for me is getting and using images of homes, and doing
so in a way that is legally and morally responsible. I’m still investigating
this subject in order to figure out how I can properly borrow or use images.
Until I get a better understanding of image use, I’ll probably be using photos
of my own home and perhaps friends’ homes as well. Stay tuned for more on this. I’ll
designate a particular day for interior posts and make it a weekly or bi-weekly
thing.
