Seaside Saturday: Images of the Maine Coast ~ July 23rd

Like many parts of the country, Maine has been enduring some very high temps the past few days. Yesterday hit 101 in Portland, a record-breaker. And many Maine homes do not have air conditioning. Mine certainly doesn't. Anyway, I hope that wherever you are this weekend, you are able to stay cool and maybe even spend a little time by the sea. Have a wonderful weekend!

and blue...

Are you ready?

It's a good time to fly a flag (or two)...

Take a walk on the beach...

Dabble your toes...

Smell a beach rose...

Or maybe even create a sand turtle!

You can explore the road less traveled...

Visit a lighthouse...

Eat fresh veggies...

Work in the garden...

Or just stop and smell the flowers ...

And if you're lucky enough to own a boat, you can lift anchor and simply sail away!

Cheers to summer ~ June 21st

It's officially summer! Time to slow down...

and smell the flowers!

There are so many gorgeous flowers blooming right now!

And here in Maine, there are lovely green ferns to admire all season long.



This is my favorite time of year, and I'm just thrilled that summer's here!
