Seaside Saturday: Images of the Maine Coast ~ Jan. 29th

I decided to try something new, which I'm calling Seaside Saturday. On Saturdays, I'll post images of the Maine Coast. This week, I turned to my archives for these photos of Reid State Park in Georgetown, Maine, which I took last winter. As you can clearly see, Maine is beautiful in every season!

Howdy Beth
Be still my heart !!!!!!!!!!!
Oh Beth thank you for sharing your gorgeous images.
I truly needed to see your fabulous photos .
It has been a little over two years since I last walked the beach .
Last summer my son actually had a load of sand delivered to me .
I spent the entire day in a 100 plus degree heat wave with a shovel and a bucket :)
I was the hit of the neighborhood !
The mailman even stopped to talk and remember his own childhood days .
I live in Central Texas thus I am land locked.
However my heart and soul belong to the call of the waves .
Hubby has always been great to understand this and make time for me to go .
Recently life has been about caring for my parents .
Blessings to you Beth .
Thank you so very much .
Until next time

Gooooorgeous!! Wow, Beth, that brings back memories of visiting you... Aren't we lucky that we both get to live close to the ocean?! Love, Silke

Howdy Beth
Thank you for a place to come and release my cares today.
It has been a week of sadness .
Two cousins passed away and my heart still aches a dear old friend contacted me out of the blue letting me know she was gravely ill and than after our conversation she went to ICU and is still there.
Sorry to whine .
I came here though knowing your gorgeous images would calm my nerves and comfort my heart which they have.
Bless you sweet lady .
Until Next Time
